Why trade businesses specifically
Most web agencies don't understand what a trade contractor needs from a website. They build the same sites they build for every other client — a hero image, three service cards, a contact form buried at the bottom. It looks fine. It doesn't generate calls.
Trade business websites have specific requirements that generic sites miss: emergency call capture with a tappable phone number above the fold on mobile, local SEO structured for service-area searches rather than brand searches, schema markup that tells Google you're a plumber in Lee's Summit and not a plumbing-supply wholesaler, trust signals that matter to the homeowner deciding whether to let a stranger into their house.
We built TrueWright because we knew how to build sites that work for this audience and wanted to do it for contractors who couldn't afford a $5,000 agency and wouldn't be well-served by a $400 template site.
The approach
Every TrueWright site is built from scratch for the client's specific trade, city, and services. Not a template with your name swapped in — an actual custom site built with the content we collect from your kickoff call and your Google Business Profile.
We write all the copy. We set up the local SEO. We add the schema markup. We submit the site to Google Search Console. We connect your domain. We test it on mobile before launch. You don't need to do any of that. Your job is to show up for the kickoff call, send us some photos, and approve the draft.
What we don't do
We don't do Google Ads, social media management, or email marketing. We're a website company. We build and maintain trade contractor websites — and we do that well. Everything else is outside our scope, and we won't upsell you into services we're not specialists in.
We also don't build commercial construction company sites, franchise sites, or multi-location regional chain sites. Our wheelhouse is the 1-10 person trade contractor who needs a solid online presence that generates calls and doesn't require them to manage anything.
The anti-AI-slop commitment
Every site we ship is signed off against our anti-slop checklist. Real photos from your actual jobs — not stock. Your name in the copy, not a placeholder. Specific neighborhood and landmark mentions for the areas you actually serve. Two fonts, neither of them the default. A color palette that comes from your brand, not a color wheel preset.
We build what looks hand-made, because it is. The demo we give you in the sales call is built with real content, not a generic template with Lorem Ipsum.
